I wanted to share the following with you all. I hope you find it empowering and a reminder that we are in charge of our lives.
I believe in fate, but I also believe that we can control our destiny. Fate just gives us the option [and courage] to do so.
One of my most favorite quotes comes from the 1998 movie Can't Hardly Wait:
"Fate. There is fate but it only takes you so far because once you're there, it's up to you to make it happen"
There are a lot of things in life that we cannot control, but there are several things we can control.
Believe in yourself. Know your self-worth. Love yourself. Make it happen.
